Westborough, Massachusetts-based retailer BJ’s Wholesale will open its newest club in South Fayette Township, Pa. on Dec. 10. Considered the premier club in the Pittsburgh market, executives see an opportunity to grow in Keystone State.

“We are delighted to open our very first club in the Pittsburgh market, expanding our footprint in Pennsylvania,” said Malika Harris, manager of BJ’s Wholesale club in Bridgeville.

BJ’s is expected to boast 18 branches in the state of Pennsylvania and Harris said they are delighted that “our doors are opening and serving our members and our community, especially during the peak holiday season.”

The new club is located at 4000 Victoria Street in Bridgeville and will be the retailer’s 223rd location. It will feature fresh food and produce, a full-service grocery store, household essentials, pet supplies as well as the retailer’s signature scavenger hunt experience for BJ members. The location will offer curbside pickup, club pickup and same day delivery.

The club opening follows the same location for BJ’s newest refueling facility, which also opened in South Fayette earlier this month, marking the 153e gas station.
