But this town isn’t all about cheap beer, just a two-hour flight from Gatwick, it’s perfect for a busy city break. Since the Middle Ages, Prague has been considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Prague has long been known for its low beer prices, with tourists flocking from all over the world to sample the cheap booze. Not only is it three times lower than the average UK price, Prague beer is four times lower than the average London price of £4.
Undoubtedly the most famous beer in the Czech Republic, you can enjoy the view of this city while sipping a refreshing Pilsner. For those looking for a romantic city break, this takes “cheap date” to a new level.
Pretty Prague may be cheap, but other cities in this European country also offer cheap beer. The popular Český Krumlov also averages £1, Kutna Hora 90p and Olomouc just 60p.

How to get there
From Gatwick, easyJet offers regular flights to Prague that take just two hours. You can also easily fly from Heathrow or Stanstead in two hours and often less, so it’s worth checking which airport is best for you.
