Three Sacramento residents have been charged with retail theft offenses in western Sacramento.

Hank McGee, 61, and Mark Ray, 61, pleaded not guilty to multiple retail theft charges in Yolo County Superior Court on Thursday, according to a press release from the district attorney’s office. Satin Bowman, 45, was also involved in thefts but did not appear in court.

After a month-long investigation into thefts in Sacramento and Yolo counties, the three were arrested by the West Sacramento Police Department on Tuesday. In the criminal complaint filed Wednesday, all three were charged with allegations of organized retail theft and one count of conspiracy that occurred between August 19 and December 21.

Bowman was also charged with one count of robbery in an incident on December 8. In addition, Ray has been charged with being convicted of previous strike infractions, according to the press release.

McGee and Ray are both scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on January 10, 2022. Bowman is scheduled to be held on December 27.

All three remain in custody on bail set at $ 10,000 for McGee, $ 20,000 for Ray and $ 50,000 for Bowman.
